Faster Wallpapers & Clearer WebDAV Errors

ReleasePublicadaPendiente en la tienda
Novedades (2)
  • Bing and curated photo wallpapers are now cached locally, so new tabs reuse saved images and rely less on the network.
  • WebDAV now provides clearer errors and troubleshooting guidance when a server refuses to create sync folders.
Correcciones (3)
  • Fixed slow or failed online wallpapers leaving new tabs in a loading state or showing a blank background. Failed or timed-out images now fall back to the default wallpaper.

Dynamic Progress Cards, WebDAV Sync & A Richer New Tab

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (8)
  • Added dynamic watching and reading progress cards. Pin an episode or novel page in New Tab and enable tracking to follow later episodes or chapters of the same work, with recent history that can be reviewed and restored. Controls are available in General settings and on each card. Special thanks to @JIANG-R98 (JIANG) for the suggestions and support behind dynamic progress cards!
  • Added WebDAV sync with Nutstore and custom servers, multiple connections, and syncing for settings, shortcut icons, and custom wallpapers. Compare local and server changes before resolving conflicts.
  • Added daily quotes for Chinese UI languages, with literature and poetry categories, adjustable placement and font size, and source information. Added Bing daily wallpapers and a recent-wallpaper gallery. Thanks for the suggestion in #53.
  • Added drag-and-drop conversion between shortcuts and bookmarks, including dropping shortcuts into bookmark folders. Thanks to @Gitnapp for the contribution in PR #64!
  • Added custom bookmark folder colors and refined New Tab appearance, wallpaper and quote panels, and the keyboard shortcut reference.
  • Shortcuts now support Chrome/Edge internal pages, including chrome://inspect/#devices (#62). Search results can open to the left or right of the current tab, or at the end of the tab strip (#60).
  • Aggregate search tab groups now use “Aggregate name: query” naming, making groups easier to identify and exclude in other tab-grouping extensions (#63).
  • Adapted New Tab, Settings, and onboarding to phone-sized screens, with consistent controls, menus, loading states, and feedback.
Correcciones (5)
  • Saved shortcuts reuse persisted icons to reduce repeated fetching and changes caused by notification badges; improved bundled artwork and fallback behavior (#61).
  • Improved progress matching with navigation context, page hints, and stricter URL rules to reduce updates from unrelated works.
  • Fixed WebDAV connection-management edge cases and improved conflict handling, restoration, and Zen mode sync.
  • Fixed unreadable error Toast text and unified feedback from the web-content floating-window picker and loading states.
  • Refactored New Tab modules and React bundles to keep single-page components out of shared resources.

Kagi Search & Stable Scope Navigation

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (1)
  • Added Kagi as a built-in search engine with kg and kagi triggers, bundled local artwork, and default-browser search engine recognition consistent with the existing providers.
Correcciones (3)
  • Fixed pointer hover overriding the keyboard focus border in the search-scope panel, so arrow-key navigation always retains a clear current-item indicator.
  • Prevented native pointer focus from scrolling panel ancestors before a search source is selected, avoiding unexpected panel or page movement.
  • Adjusted the New Tab wallpaper effect lifecycle so beforeunload no longer removes the canvas early, preserving the painted effect during same-tab navigation.

Aggregate Search, New Wallpaper Effects & Refined New Tab

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (3)
  • Added aggregate search for combining 2–10 built-in or custom search sources and opening all results at once. Each aggregate search can have its own trigger word for direct access from the search box, with the same duplicate validation used by existing search sources. Thanks to @Lysand-Shen for the core contribution in PR #59.
  • Aggregate search results are grouped by default and the tab group is named after the current query; this can be disabled in General settings. Aggregate definitions and the grouping preference are also included in settings sync.
  • Added Glass Blur, Blocks, and CRT wallpaper effects with independent controls for blur strength, texture, block size, RGB offset, bloom, and screen curvature. Thanks to @JIANG-R98 for the core contribution in PR #58.
Correcciones (4)
  • Added clearer aggregate-search feedback when sources are unavailable, a request is already running, or only some result pages can be opened.
  • The magnifier button is now disabled while a search tag is active, preventing the scope panel from reopening unnecessarily; interaction returns after the tag is removed.
  • Refined onboarding by keeping the compatibility tooltip on the first page while showing the same guidance directly on the New Tab slide.
  • Improved New Tab icon backgrounds, content loading, and transition stability to reduce color shifts, flashes, and unnecessary movement during wallpaper or window-size changes.

Flexible Shortcut Layout & Polished New Tab Search

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (2)
  • New Tab shortcut layout can now adjust items per row, icon size, and spacing independently; both the Appearance panel and Options provide synchronized controls, precise value entry, and reset actions.
  • Refined extension names across Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese to communicate Lumno’s search, command bar, and New Tab capabilities more clearly.
Correcciones (2)
  • Refined blank-area clicks for New Tab search: clicking the background focuses an empty search field, while populated searches dismiss results, preserve exactly what the user typed, and restore results on refocus; / commands are no longer cleared on blur.
  • Update notices now appear at most three times per version, avoiding repeated interruptions across New Tab and Overlay.

Search-First Results & Refined New Tab Controls

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (3)
  • Added a clearer search-first result mix: exact search stays first, more slots are reserved for search-engine suggestions, and history or bookmarks are less likely to fill the list; while suggestions are loading, both New Tab and Overlay show and highlight the current keyword search first. Related feedback: #52
  • Added independent shortcut-width controls; shortcut, recent-site, and regular bookmark context menus can now open items in a new tab. Related feedback: #49
  • New Tab can now hide the Feedback and Appearance buttons independently for a more immersive layout. Related feedback: #57
Correcciones (1)
  • Fixed built-in search-source edits creating duplicate custom entries without taking effect; edited configurations now move correctly into the custom list, and deleting them restores the original built-in configuration. Related feedback: #56

Customizable Clock, Faster Wallpapers & Refined Search

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (3)
  • Added a 300–800 font-weight control and an optional seconds display for the New Tab clock, configurable in both the appearance panel and Settings.
  • Added a right-click action menu for recent-site cards; Settings now uses a slider for visible rows and dynamically reveals related options based on the current selection.
  • Added guidance for input auto-focus so users who prefer the browser’s native address bar can understand what changes when it is disabled.
Correcciones (3)
  • Improved built-in and local wallpaper loading and switching with targeted local reads, early image decoding, and protection against stale wallpapers during rapid selection.
  • Unified search-box and results borders with natural result heights across New Tab and the in-page command bar, reducing clipping and layout jumps when scopes or suggestions change.
  • Fixed current-page site-search matching in the in-page command bar so search-engine domains and similar subdomains are not mistaken for site-specific scopes.

Always-Ready Command Bar, Faster Search & 60 Shortcuts

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (2)
  • Increased the New Tab shortcut limit from 20 to 60. Shortcut sync is now byte-budgeted to preserve capacity for critical settings; shortcuts beyond the sync capacity remain available on this device with a top-of-page notice. #48
  • Clarified Appearance theme settings by separating “Follow system” from webpage color adaptation and hiding the webpage adaptation control when Light or Dark mode is selected manually.
Correcciones (6)
  • The Command Bar can now open immediately while a page is loading, navigating repeatedly, or replacing its Document, while preserving the draft, selection, and focus. Custom shortcuts also recover correctly after an extension cold start. #44
  • Fixed the Command Bar being hidden or removed when reader extensions such as SimpRead hide or replace the page body. #42
  • Improved shortcut opening and result responsiveness with many tabs by reusing the tab cache, deferring below-the-fold rows and theme work, and reducing background render batches while pages load, cutting suggestion delays, blank frames, and animation stutter. #41
  • Fixed a quick Tab Switcher shortcut release during extension cold start sometimes failing to confirm the current selection.
  • Fixed unstable search-action ordering when autocomplete is preferred; the exact search action now stays directly after the primary result.
  • Improved the clarity of New Tab search-result panel borders in both light and dark themes.

Faster Search, Dither Wallpapers & Polished New Tab Interactions

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (2)
  • Added a Dither wallpaper filter. Halftone and ASCII filters can now sample either wallpaper shadows or highlights while preserving the source colors, giving dot and character effects more flexible styling.
  • Improved search results across New Tab and the Command Bar: brand and site queries prioritize better representative pages, reduce repetitive deep results from the same site family, retain matching open tabs, and present cleaner URLs with clearer webpage and search-suggestion grouping.
Correcciones (2)
  • Reduced the time to first Command Bar results and improved shortcut opening, page startup, shortcut hover, and drag responsiveness by batching large open-tab result sets, consolidating New Tab and Settings startup reads, and removing paint-heavy animation work.
  • Fixed New Tab’s top input corners changing when search results appear and bookmark cascade drags falling back to the regular pointer cursor.

Minimal Command Bar, Refined Search Results & Smoother New Tab

ReleasePublicadaEn la tienda
Novedades (3)
  • Added an optional “Minimal mode” under Settings > Appearance. It gives New Tab and the webpage Command Bar a cleaner Arc-inspired layout by hiding query highlights, source badges, and extra action prompts while tightening URL and result spacing. Based on @JordanTranchina’s proposal—thanks for the contribution. #39
  • Refined search results across New Tab and the webpage Command Bar with clearer action labels, more legible themed highlights and source information, tighter copy/delete controls, and smoother corner continuity between panels and rows.
  • Upgraded the Selection Quick Actions toolbar with a sharper Lumno vector mark and improved material and corner rendering in light and dark modes.
Correcciones (1)
  • Improved New Tab’s first-paint theme, wallpaper, and effect readiness to reduce opening flashes and make automatic focus recovery more reliable.
